Privacy information
Updated 3 October 2026.
Snow Server Backups is a private application used by its owner to store encrypted server backups in their own Google Drive account.
Google Drive access
The application requests drive.file access, limited to files and folders it creates or that are specifically shared with it through Google authorization. It does not request general access to existing Drive files, Gmail messages or Google Photos.
Data handling
Backup contents are encrypted on the server before upload. Google Drive receives encrypted backup data and associated file metadata. Authorization tokens are stored privately on the owner's server to permit scheduled backups. Backup data is used for recovery, not advertising, sale or AI model training.
Control and retention
The owner controls backup schedules and retention and can revoke this application's access in Google Account permissions. Revoking access stops future access; existing backup files remain until the owner deletes them. Questions can be directed to the support contact shown on the Google consent screen.
